Our campaign had a great weekend! We had over 50 volunteers at our Volunteer Kickoff event on Saturday, distributing lawn signs, canvassing neighborhoods in East-central Fresno and spreading our message of the vision all Fresnans have for our great city.

I am deeply humbled by the breadth of support our campaign felt on Saturday. We had volunteers from all over Fresno, all walks of life and all sharing the same hopes I have for a strong city in the 21st century. In particular, I’d like to thank Raul Valencia of Mundo Aztek, a small business in the City of Fresno on the verge of breaking into the Big Leagues. He hosted our kickoff event at his corporate headquarters near Ashlan and Cedar, adding to the broad range of support our campaign has received from businesses throughout Fresno.
